Automated pouch handling for pet food processing
The system buffers and compacts stand-up pouches, transfers them to a formation conveyor, and uses robotic handling to place 45 pouches at a time into custom trays. A tailored tray design increases product density, while a deformation conveyor and swivel-arm transfer feed the pouches into the dryer before packaging — handling upwards of 100 pieces per minute for smaller bags.
