Samherji ÚA
An automated stacking solution for by-products, where a robot stacks frozen blocks directly onto pallets at the wrapping machines — saving floor space and reducing manual handling.
Hulda GK-11 — Þorbjörn hf.
Micro designed and constructed the layout for an integrated onboard processing system covering the flow from freshly caught whole fish to tubs in the hold, for a new 58-metre vessel — focused on ergonomics, automated sorting and end-product quality.
Sigurbjörg ÁR 67 — Ísfélag
As part of a complete processing solution, Klaki developed an automated cargo hold designed to mitigate human risk by eliminating manual operations. The work formed part of the company's nomination for the Icelandic Fisheries, Seafood & Aqua Awards 2024.
Arctic Fish — Drimla
For the Drimla harvesting plant, Micro delivered and installed the grading and packaging system plus software and controls: a 56-buffer grader with automatic gate allocation, box lift and QR-code labeling, full traceability per box, live dashboards through Micro MES and a web-based HMI with diagnostics. Production start June 2023.
Skinney-Þinganes
The system automates filling on the mince and block line, integrating conveyor transport, x-ray-checked block flow, automatic box insertion and controlled dosing into one packing process.
Mowi — Blar Mhor, Scotland
An empty box and lid system distributing four different box types to four salmon grader take-away lanes, with automatic box feeding from trucks via roller conveyors and lifts, and separate lid movement between storage and the processing floor.
